Crossgate Luxury Glamping, Hartsop, Brotherswater, Ullswater

Crossgate Luxury Glamping offers 3 luxury lodges in Hartsop, near Patterdale and on the south-eastern corner of Ullswater. Each pod sleeps 4 in one king sized double and a sofa bed. Each pod has its own Hot Tub.

The site offers three luxurious glamping lodges , Hartsop Magic, Jenny and The Stag. The single storey wooden pods are beautifully situated on our working Lakeland farm in Hartsop, below Angle Tarn and close to Brotherswater. All pods have a studio-style layout with colourful décor for a warm atmosphere, where you can curl up on Super-king sized double bed or the additional sofa bed with a TV for entertainment. They are ideal for couples, families and groups of four and can be booked together for a party of eight to twelve. Each has outside decking with a hot tub and a fire pit to watch the stars at night and keep you toasty. The surrounding countryside is perfect for walkers of all abilities with its lakeshore paths, rolling hills and mountain peaks.

The luxurious lodges are set is in a glorious Lakeland location in Hartsop, described by Wainwright as an “unspoilt village of great charm and its environment is one of quiet loveliness”. The Lodges, nestled below Angle Tarn, enjoy unrivalled views of wooded fell sides and tumbling mountain streams, as well as some of the fields from our award winning working Lakeland farm. Footpaths wind off in every direction, and passing red deer and sheep dot the fells making it a superb location for a relaxing holiday.They are close to Brotherswater and just a couple of miles from Ullswater, known as England’s most beautiful lake.
